Uongozi Bora Alumni
The East Africa Youth Leadership & Citizenship Programme “Uongozi Bora” is a programme run by The DEPOT and supported by The Ford Foundation. The programme has been running for the last 6 years and we have so far run six successful programmes supported by Ford Foundation. To date, 250 youth around East Africa, have been strengthened by this programme.
This alumni is intended to provide a voice to the young leaders and willenable them to:
- Lobby for leadership, good citizenship, youth matters, and fortheir communities;
- Raise funds to support current initiatives and to do newprojects together;
- Promote their development activities
- Share ideas and experiences thus support each other in their various initiatives
